Abstract
This is the introductory class in the CICS
series and is an excellent foundation upon which to build future CICS skills.
Prerequisites
None.
Audience
All disciplines EXCEPT students planning to attend the ‘CICS
Application Programming Workshop’ class where appropriate introductory material
will be covered.
Objectives.
At the end of the course the student should
have a good understanding of the structure of CICS and be able to:
Feel confident and participate constructively in
discussions on CICS on return to the workplace
Demonstrate a good foundation knowledge about the CICS
product
Assess what future training would be of benefit if any.
